What is a QR ordering system?
A QR ordering system does more than display a digital menu. Guests scan a code, open the menu in their browser, choose items and submit the order. Where payment is supported, they can also complete payment from their phone.
Scorpaq connects this guest journey to the service workflow. It is not positioned as a replacement for a point-of-sale system.
From scan to service
The guest-facing steps and the team’s work belong to the same service journey. Once an order is submitted, the right service context stays attached as the order moves through preparation, ready and service states.

No app required
Guests use Scorpaq through their own mobile browser. They do not need to download an app or create a mandatory guest account to use the core ordering journey.
A QR menu shows information. QR ordering moves the service forward.
A digital QR menu helps guests view products and prices. A QR ordering system lets them act on that information by choosing items and sending an order into the service workflow.
Keep the service context
An order can stay connected to the table, room, pickup point, poolside location or another configured service location. This gives the team the context needed to prepare and deliver the right service.
Payment must be verified before an order is treated as paid
A payment attempt is not treated as a successful paid order until its status has been verified. Scorpaq does not hold guest funds; payment remains within the relationship between the business and its supported payment service.
Built for hospitality operations

FAQ
Questions businesses ask
What is a QR ordering system?
It lets guests scan a QR code, browse a menu and submit an order from their phone. It can also support payment where that option is available.
The QR link identifies the service location; guests browse items and choose their order. Payment follows the options made available by the business, and an online result must be verified before the order is treated as paid.
Do guests need an app?
No. Guests use Scorpaq in their mobile browser.
Guests enter through the business’s QR link and use the available menu in their browser. The service points and payment options depend on that business’s setup.
Do guests need an account?
No. A mandatory guest account is not required for the core ordering journey.
An order still needs its service context and transaction record. Avoiding a mandatory account does not mean that an order or payment has no associated data.
Is a QR ordering system the same as a QR menu?
No. A QR menu displays information; QR ordering also sends the guest’s choices into the service workflow.
A menu displays items and prices; the planned workflow also carries an order into preparation and service. Scorpaq is not a full POS, PMS or ERP.
Can QR ordering work in restaurants and hotels?
Yes. The service context can be a table, room, poolside location, pickup point or another configured location.
A café may use tables, while a hotel may organise room service and pool areas. The business configures its own menu, team and service locations rather than adopting every context.
Does Scorpaq replace a POS?
No. Scorpaq focuses on guest ordering, service operations and business performance.
Scorpaq does not promise automatic synchronisation with an existing till, hotel system or accounting package. Any separate workflow and its limits should be assessed before a pilot.
Does Scorpaq hold guest payments?
No. Scorpaq does not hold guest funds.
Guest payment processing remains within the provider and business relationship. This is separate from any subscription the business pays for Scorpaq.
