What is a room service ordering system?
Guests access the room-service menu from a QR code or an approved service link, browse available items and place an order from their phone. Where payment is supported, they can also complete payment in the mobile journey.
Scorpaq does not imply automatic room-charge, POS or PMS integration, and scheduled ordering is not presented as part of this experience.
No app required
Room-service access runs in the guest’s mobile browser. There is no mandatory download and no mandatory guest account for the core ordering journey.
Keep room context attached to the order
The configured service location remains associated with the order or request, so the team knows where the service needs to go. Scorpaq does not claim to verify room numbers or look them up through a PMS.
More than food and drink
The same guest-service experience can support appropriate requests alongside food and drink orders. Scorpaq helps teams manage those requests; it does not replace dedicated housekeeping software.

Give each team a clear view of the work
Each team can focus on the part of the workflow relevant to its role while the request stays connected to the wider service operation.
- Kitchen — what needs preparation
- Service — what is ready and where it goes
- Hotel team — open guest requests
- Manager — delays and operational attention
See where room service slows down
Follow the time between order receipt, preparation, ready status and completion. This gives managers clearer evidence of where delays are forming without promising that software alone will make every service faster.
Complement the PMS, do not replace it
Scorpaq does not manage hotel reservations or stays. It focuses on guest ordering and service workflows inside the property.

FAQ
Questions businesses ask
What is room service ordering software?
It lets hotel guests browse a room-service menu and place an order from their phone while teams manage fulfilment in a clear service flow.
The room or service-location link provides operational context for the request. Automatic PMS lookup, room-charge posting and reservation synchronisation are not promised.
Can guests order room service by QR code?
Yes. A QR code can open the relevant room-service experience in the guest’s mobile browser.
The room or service-location link provides operational context for the request. Automatic PMS lookup, room-charge posting and reservation synchronisation are not promised.
Do guests need an app?
No. Scorpaq works through the mobile browser.
Guests enter through the business’s QR link and use the available menu in their browser. The service points and payment options depend on that business’s setup.
Do guests need an account?
No. A mandatory guest account is not required for the core journey.
An order still needs its service context and transaction record. Avoiding a mandatory account does not mean that an order or payment has no associated data.
Can service requests be handled as well as food orders?
Yes. Appropriate configured requests can be managed alongside food and drink orders.
The business defines which requests are appropriate for each service area and which team handles them. This does not promise every possible hotel workflow or automatic fulfilment.
Does Scorpaq replace the hotel PMS?
No. Scorpaq does not manage hotel reservations or stays.
The room or service-location link provides operational context for the request. Automatic PMS lookup, room-charge posting and reservation synchronisation are not promised.
Can hotel teams see service delays?
Teams can review the time between key order and fulfilment stages to see where service is slowing down.
Compare receipt, preparation, ready and delivery timestamps to find which stage needs attention. A longer time identifies a place to investigate, not an automatic cause or a guaranteed service improvement.
